The Forest Fields Social Club, in conjunction with the NG7 Skills Exchange (Time Bank), invite all  all Sumac, Veggies, FFSC & Skills Exchange members and friends for a Christmas type meal and for Festive Frolics.

Skills Exchange NG7 in rebellious Nottingham was set up by community members in January 2017. We facilitate a variety of time exchanges, including clothing and electrical repairs, transport, gardening and IT skills. Our members include older people, retired professionals and people seeking work. Our time bank is open to everyone over 16, living in the city of Nottingham.

We have taken part in environmental and community events, and, when restrictions allow, run workshops and organise outings. We welcome new members and our brokers will give you all the help you need to get started.

5pm – 7pm with the fantastic Alice Lynn singing and spoken word.

7pm . “Peoples Kitchen” at the Sumac Centre, is a pay what you can event and the proceeds will go towards helping ALL Refugees fleeing persecution (donating to Refugee Forum).

As an Ecology student, I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to volunteer with Operation Wallacea – an international non-profit conservation research organisation – on one of their recently created marine reserves. The aim is to take part in pioneering research on coral reef structure and ecosystem functioning within the reserve area, with hopes of conserving and protecting this fragile habitat. However, as this is a non-profit project it wouldn’t be possible without a little fundraising. Lovers of science, nature, life : any contribution, big or small, is much appreciated – you’ll be helping to support the preservation of a beautiful and vulnerable ecosystem!

Book Your Space

Add an event to the Sumac events calendar. The submission will be sent to a group of moderators before approval, to reduce the chance of any problems.
