All welcome to join the 2nd Mabinogi Workshop on Welsh mythology on 7th of February at Sumac Centre

Towards an interpretation of the Mabinogi Part 2

Amongst what ever else we find we will be covering the birth and boyhood of Pryderi. The Pig wars, the other world, charm and the nature of reality in the mabinogi as revealed by the text.

For early birds the meeting will begin at 10 o’clock in the morning
For late birds the meeting will begin at 11 o’clock in the morning

For those of you who attended our last session in which we covered 2 thirds of the first branch of the Mabinogi, Pwyll Prince of Dyfed. This session will have a special emphasis on pages 23 to 30 and pages 64 to 70 of ‘Tales from the Mabinogion‘ by Gwyn Thomas & Kevin Crossley¬≠-Holland.
