We are running a daily Community Food Hub whilst most events at Sumac are on hold.
We’ve not updated the diary as we hope that events will continue in better times, when we will again welcome room booking requests and People’s Kitchen fundraising events. Meanwhile see Sumac Centre news on facebook.

Sunday March 22nd @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
An absolute must for all intending to take part in actions – whether you consider yourself arrestable or not!
This free training will cover the practice of non-violent techniques: showing you how to de-escalate tense situations, how to interact with the police, what to do if you get arrested and much more.
This training if valuable if you consider yourself non-arrestable, but still want to join in actions as you will be made aware of the legalities of protesting and also then be able to support the rebels that are putting themselves in a higher risk situation.
Join us, 11-5pm, to learn about Non-Violent Direct Action (NVDA) and practice some techniques in a safe environment. The workshop will be held at The Sumac Centre in Forest Fields NG7 6HX.
This event is free but donations are requested to cover room hire.
Tickets not essential, but to help us predict numbers please click on the Eventbrite ticket link to register your place.
