Cheap Dirty Horse Raise Fund to Buy a Van: The Festival (DAY ONE) at the SUMAC Centre.

This is an all day fundraising event to support Cheap Dirty Horse in their goals to raise a van to make touring and playing gigs all over actually feasible and not the nightmare it currently is! It is hosted at the Sumac Centre Nottinghams finest Social Community Centre ran with anarchist ideals, that is truly a space that supports community and people working together to meet their needs.

Cheap Dirty Horse are a big rowdy queer trash folk-punk band from Nottingham. Blending acoustic and electric guitar with banjo, accordion, bass, drums, and sometimes mandolin, they write energetic, joyful protest music. They sing about trans rights, dead billionaires, and the importance of doing the things you love. They sing about grief, washing machines, and stealing shit. Angry, but always empowering.
