XR NVDA Training
Saturday February 1st, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

An absolute must for all intending to take part in actions – whether you consider yourself arrestable or not!
This free training will cover the practice of non-violent techniques: showing you how to de-escalate tense situations, how to interact with the police, what to do if you get arrested and much more.
This training is valuable if you consider yourself non-arrestable, but still want to join in actions as you will be made aware of the legalities of protesting and also then be able to support the rebels that are putting themselves in a higher risk situation.
Join us, 11-5pm, to learn about Non-Violent Direct Action (NVDA) and practice some techniques in a safe environment. The workshop will be held at The Sumac Centre in Forest Fields NG7 6HX.
This event is free but donations are requested to cover room hire.
Tickets not essential, but it will help us predict numbers if you register your place at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/non-violent-direct-action-training-tickets-89223302299
