During Forest Fields Social Club events under 18s must be accompanied by an adult who remains responsible for them whilst on Sumac premises. At other times children under 16 are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult.

Radical Routes Winter Gathering

Together with Neds Housing Co-op & Veggies Catering Campaign, Sumac Centre will be welcoming the Radical Routes Winter (February) Gathering to Nottingham.
Radical Routes is a network of radical housing co-ops, workers co-ops and social centres, whose members are committed to working for positive social change. Four times a year, the member co-ops get together at weekend events which have a social function, but which are also the places at which all important decisions are taken. They are open meetings and anyone is welcome to attend.
The main events will be at the Hyson Green Youth Club, with social space at Sumac on Friday and Saturday Evenings.
Sumac exists to provides resources and a meeting space for groups and individuals working to promote social justice, environmental awareness, peace, and animal rights.
