During Forest Fields Social Club events under 18s must be accompanied by an adult who remains responsible for them whilst on Sumac premises. At other times children under 16 are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult.

In June 2021, instead of opening at Glastonbury, which was cancelled due to covid, Veggies had a five-day run in the Sumac Centre Garden.
2026 sees another ‘fallow year’ with no Glastonbury Frestival, so there is potential for another alternative ‘Gladstonebury Festival’ at Sumac Centre on Gladstone Street, Nottingham.
Anyone interested in putting on any kind of event or set up a pop-up stall for their green business (including other vegan caterers) during this festival is invited to contact us.
Sumac exists to provides resources and a meeting space for groups and individuals working to promote social justice, environmental awareness, peace, and animal rights.
